What phone company would you consider to be the best for a chicagoland area?

My dad also works around the country, mostly the east coast like New Jersey, New York and Philidelphia. Whenever he calls home we get a lot of dropped calls so I was wondering what the best company to get the fewest dropped calls from the east coast to chicago would be?

Yea, someone posted that Cingular has a graph on signal strength. Tmobile does too so try them both.

I live in the suburbs and have some dropped calls with Tmobile. ( just dont get the sidekick ) In the city Tmobile never has a problem.

Cingular I heard is good but Tmobile customer service is better.

Cingular has the better gadgets and is closer in technology (3G) compared to the superior European and Asian markets so if you want good signal and gadgets then Cingular.

If you want a good signal and customer service, then Tmobile. Just dont get the sidekick, they have their own department and it sucks.

Verizon is not GSM, thats all I know about them. LOL

either cingular or cingular it’s rated the best by less dropped calls plus that’s why the makers of the Iphone are hooking up with Cingular named the best cell phone company

    personally id say cingular
i’ve had it for 5 years and have had about 6 dropped calls per year. On the cingular website there is a graph of what your signal would be like depending on where you are in chicagoland. if you type in Chicago and then zoom out a bit you can see that Chicago is in the dark to medium orange which is the best

cingular or the new AT&T (same thing). the reason i say so is because i live in the chicagoland area and i get a signal everywhere i go. Also my dad goes to the east coast like Pennsylvania or other new england states and never a dropped call. He even goes to norther Cali and no dropped calls.
They also support all the cool new phones that come out.
