What do you see when you look out of your bedroom window?

Do you see what is really there or what you want to see there? Where do you live; urban or country? What country do you live in?

I see a couple of buildings and a road where people just pass by like life is meaningless. But then, i’d rather look at the beautiful sky, with the ever-changing clouds. I could do that for hours if time permits!

I see a lemon tree, snuggled right up close to my window to one side so that it’s branches are always in view. Even now there are plenty of lemons in it even though the lemon season is over and we picked alot. Its’ slender branches are home to a nest of sparrows …plenty of activity.
Everything is gently swaying in the breeze.
Today the sky is very blue. I see across over gardens of oranges ,peach blossoms and pomegranate trees to the house opposite which is divided into two apartments with the grandmother living downstairs and her divorced daughter with her 2 teenage kids living upstairs. They move in and out and call to one another.
I can hear one or two birds, A pigeon, a crow and some other twittering. High above an airplane makes a light far away sound. The occasional car engine and motor scooter passes in the street.

    Sabina region of Italy.

I’ll be moving on in a couple of months.

As a 48 State truck driver, what I see out my bedroom window is different every day. It’s wonderful. Except the bathroom is about 1000 yards away.

as i look out my window , i see the mountains , these mountains are called mount bawbaws this is what makes me live here , .Ilive in Australia about 132 km, east og Melbourne which is in the state of Victoria.Asit is only Autumn here the snow is not on these mountains yet , ASfor do i see what i want to see their , yes it is , i go their which would take me about 40 mins to get thir from my home , EARLY IN THE THE MORNING IN THE SUMMER I GO UP THEIR AND I SIT THEIR , THE beauty of this place is that it give ne the fresh air that i need , and i take a seat up their and i get my pen and paper out , and it give me the inspiraration to write my thoughts down , or maybe a poem or two , .The serenity ,and the tranquility is so peaceful ,When i come down from the BawBAWS to my home Ifeel really good about myself , and i cannot wait to go back up then the next time , .

I see my backyard with a wooden fence across the back. There were some bricks stacked up in the corner and they have fallen over from the ground freezing this winter. Eventually I will see green grass and flowers down the side of the yard but so far everything is brown and mushy from getting through a rough winter. I live in the U.S. in a city in Ohio

My bedroom is in the basement and the windows are ground level so when I look out, all I can see are the dirt and bricks of the patio and the side of my poolhouse. Pretty dull.

Last night at 2 a.m. it was some drunk college student yelling to the people in the apartment above me. We had a nice little chat.
