Instead of hammering people, work with them, that is how you will win in the end. Banks are only too happy to crush people, but in the end they only screw themselves.

Nooo, the homeowners are at fault too. They knew that they couldn’t afford the mortgage when they got it.

Wow, Gov can bail out banks but cannot help true Americans. Even FEMA didn’t help much in NY. I feel sorry for your plight and I hope it does not come to that. If, only if, it comes to that buy a bag of roaches, jack hammer everything, gross, plaster feces everywhere. Good luck. I cannot believe I just wrote that but I feel sorry for these people. No respect for the government. We are going backwards not forward.

Get mortgage , buy house , stumbling economy , lose job ,can’t make payments ,lose house , rich buy your house at foreclosure sales , make profit, bank sues prior owner for difference , Banks get bailouts , but won’t hesitate when a homeowner has a hardship .. the hardship this country has endured was caused by the banks , the job losses were caused by the banks , Homelessness .. is caused by the banks . They took away our ability to make those mortgage payments ..

This is not the banks fault. People talk of the big banks but there are thousands of little banks that loaned and got shafted after the meltdown. It’s Congress’ fault. Congress who forced everybody to go and give mortgages to people with terrible credit. A good bank would ask for a down payment. And individuals fault, who took the risk to invest when they knew they didn’t have the money. Banks actually got fined for turning people away even knowing they’re not the best candidate.

MIC 2:1 Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
MIC 2:2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
MIC 2:3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.

Congress and the Fed. The Fed’s got rates even lower today, fueling more malinvestment and speculation.
